According to recent studies organized, well-structured youth sports can provide many benefits for children and adolescents. The positive experiences of taking part in team sport play an enormously important role in a young person’s life.
AN ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE ENHANCER
Playing a sport requires a lot of time and energy. Often people think this would distract students from their schoolwork. However, research has revealed that the opposite is true. Sports require students to use their memory, practical application of repetition and learning — transfer skill sets that are directly relevant to class work. Also, the persistence, determination and goal-setting skills a sport requires are easily relayed into the classroom.
A TEAMWORK AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILL BUILDER
Working toward a a common goal with a group of players and coaches prepares you for continuously building and maintaining a team and effectively communicating with that team to solve problems. This experience is helpful when encountering challenges in life, whether at work or at home.

Exercising is a natural way to manage and reduce stress. You can also build quite the support system making new friends and gaining accountability partners - some of them for life. Rather than reacting negatively to stress and pressure, when you feel under pressure or stressed, call up a team member, head to the gym to work on your skills and play the stress out.
